Hello Everyone!
This week was definitely one to remember.
We had our Mission Tour this week! Elder Gavarett from the quorum of
the seventy came to our mission.
It was a meeting that lasted almost all day. But it was necessary for
the missionaries to hear and apply that to their specific areas. There
was so many comments that people shared, Elder Gavarett shared a
message about a subway station. There was a sign that said "watch the
Gap". Meaning that people would need to
watch for the gap (where people would drop phones) in between the
subway and the concrete getting off. He related this analogy to our
lives. We have many trials and situations in our lives that might
cause us to have a huge gap from reaching our full potential or even
happiness. May we fill that gap with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If we
have that imbedded in our hearts, no hardship will cause us to be
affected in the long run from it. There was so many wonderful testimonies that
were shared from both Elder Gavarett, other Senior couples within the
mission, mission president and assistants . This week was a week full
of blessings. One of our Investigators was is in the hospital. We gave
him a blessing and we're able to give some
other members in that hospital a blessing early in the week. (On the
4th floor) We ended
up going back to that hospital again to visit our investigator as we
were leaving a member who had just gotten out of surgery requested us
to give him a blessing and everything before that Happened perfectly
and the perfect time of. I have a testimony of the Lords timing in
things and as we follow the spirit miracles follow ! So it was
literally a week full of blessing. With our investigator we shared
with him the importance of the Book of Mormon and the word of wisdom.
We knelt down to pray and The investigator starting crying and
pleading for his health in his prayer. What a humbling experience.
We are trying to get some people to commit to baptism. It is getting
pretty hard to teach everyone, especially this time of the year. We
just got to keep having faith and hope that everything will work out.
We did some service for some non members and a LA this week. It's
always
wonderful to see people that don't know much about our church and
don't know about how much service we do.
Hope you all have a great week! This Christmas time is special! Try
to take advantage at this time and focus on the the Savior and try to
serve people around you.
I love you all and have a great week!
